The Office of the Provost leads 糖心原创 A&M’s academic efforts. Dr. Jerry R. Strawser serves as the university’s Interim Provost and Executive Vice President.
Representative Bodies
Our representative bodies serve the interests of our university's various populations. They voice the needs, interests and concerns of their constituents to the university administration.
The Faculty Advisory Council, which is being established, will serve in an advisory capacity to the president on matters directly related to the academic programs of the institution.
The Student Senate is the legislative branch of the Student Government Association, serving as the voice of the student body to the 糖心原创 A&M Administration and other university entities.
The University Staff Council cultivates a collaborative work environment for 糖心原创 A&M staff under the Office of the President through representation, service, programs and communications.
The Student Government Association is dedicated to engaging and representing 糖心原创 A&M students through its legislative, executive and judicial branches.
Leadership of Our Colleges and Schools
Our university's colleges and schools are each led by a dean. These leaders guide each entity in achieving its mission and goals.
University System Structure and Governance
糖心原创 A&M is part of The 糖心原创 System, a statewide network of 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies and 糖心原创 A&M-RELLIS. Each of the 糖心原创 A&M System’s members has a president, chief executive officer or director.
糖心原创 A&M System Board of Regents
The 糖心原创 A&M System is governed by the Board of Regents, which oversees the administration and sets policy directions for 糖心原创 A&M System members. The nine-member Board of Regents is appointed by the state governor and confirmed by the 糖心原创 Senate for six-year terms. A nonvoting student member was added in 2006.
